Dr. Natalie Groenewoud (pronounced "Greenwood") is an avid athlete who received a soccer scholarship to the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she played Division I NCAA soccer and studied biology and botany. After graduating, she continued her soccer career playing in Holland and for the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Dr. Groenewoud received her naturopathic medical training in Vancouver at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. In her senior year, she had the honour of training with Dr. Matsen. Today, Dr. Groenewoud practises as a primary care naturopathic physician at the Northshore Naturopathic Clinic.
