David Wang, ND
Dr. David Wang, ND received his Naturopathic Doctor's designation from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario in 1990. His studies there not only gave him a new profession, but also had a significant personal impact on his health. "My insights into nutrition had a profound impact on my health and cured me of my IBS".
For the past 25 years, Dr. Wang has held a successful naturopathic practice in Vancouver, British Columbia, but his influence in his profession extends beyond his naturopathic clinic. Dr. Wang is one of the founders of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC, where he continues to lecture, and is also a past president of the BC Naturopathic Association. He specializes in treating stress-related conditions and chronic diseases using anti-aging medicine, the Gerson Therapy, detoxification programs, IV therapies, nutrition, and botanical medicine; he is a pioneer in the field for intravenous and Ozone therapies.
After suffering from two major bouts of stress-induced adrenal collapse, Dr. Wang dedicated himself to learning how food can be used as medicine to treat chronic stress-related diseases and conditions. His naturopathic practice and research is focused on learning how natural nutrients sourced from foods affect the body and differ from synthetic nutritional supplements created in a lab.
In 2009, Dr. Wang switched to all natural, food-based supplements in his practice, and he was astonished at the significant difference in the efficacy of natural nutrients. Food-based nutrient supplementation gave his patients much better and quicker results without any side-effects. These results were even more apparent for his patients who were experiencing symptoms related to chronic stress.
The key difference is simple: nature has perfectly created and combined all the nutrients our bodies need in food. There is a synergistic effect that occurs between vitamins and minerals, and the enzymes, amino acids, fats, and phytonutrients combined with them in foods that synthetic nutritional supplements cannot mimic when created in a lab.
Dr. Wang's tremendous success in treating stress-related conditions using organic, non-GMO, additive-free pure food inspired him to travel across Canada to educate the public about this simple but forgotten principle: food is medicine! He has been a speaker and guest on radio shows, and regularly leads seminars for the public and health professionals on the treatment of modern diseases that result from chronic stress. Since true food-based nutritional supplements were not readily available for his patients, in 2012 Dr. Wang began creating his own formulas that have proven results.
Dr. Wang is committed to sharing with everyone the merits of using what nature provides and lifestyle modification to help the thousands who are suffering from stress.
