HANS would like to make a correction to a recent article.

The fall issue of Health Action magazine features the article "Smart Meters: Big Brother's Trojan Horse." The article stated that the meters currently in use by BC Hydro, manufactured by Itron, contain mercury, a toxic environmental and health hazard.

Although old Itron meters did contain mercury, it has been verified that the BC Hydro's smart meters do not. We regret the error.
