Our Annual General Meeting was held on November 16, 2010 at the Heritage Hall, a new venue for HANS. Health Action Network Society entered this past year with a variety of challenges, but challenges can also be viewed as opportunities and this is exactly the way that the executive and staff of HANS approached the year.

Jane, Shiv and Lorna brought the membership up to date on the cost cutting and restructuring that has taken place over the past year. This has taken HANS through to a much stronger position to build for the future.

Of course the strength and commitment to do so comes in part from the continued support and encouragement of HANS members. Lorna provided us with excerpts from member feedback that made us all realize what an enormous benefit HANS is to the lives of so many.

One of our directors, Ted Kuntz, concluded the evening by leading us through a celebration of HANS accomplishments throughout the year. We are indebted to the executive and staff of HANS for their unfailing commitment and excellent work. Thanks to all of you.

Following HANS' Annual General Meeting, Jaisri Lambert provided a lecture on Ayurveda―our oldest healing science dating back to the 10th century.
