On Friday, December 12, the government posted draft regulations for licensed naturopathic physicians in BC. The regulations will improve the restricted activities permitted for NDs, including prescribing rights and access to diagnostic facilities, along with many other initiatives that will help you treat patients.

The Honourable George Abbott, BC Minister of Health, is receiving comments on the draft. Once the minister has approved the revised regulations, the CNPBC will develop an implementation plan based on the final regulatory document.
The comment period is an opportunity for both professionals and public to express their concerns, praise or criticism. Please take the time to comment prior to January 9, 2009.
