Story of Healing: Migraines, Heart Disease

I suffered with migraines since my early teens. Chiropractic treatments helped quite a bit. At a recommendation, I also went to see a naturopathic doctor, who did a Vega Test on me and determined that I had liver and intestine imbalances.
He gave me natural medicine to kill the bad bacteria in my body and keep the good ones, like acidophilus, Echinacea and homeopathics. Right away, my headaches stopped. I haven't had a migraine since. I was able to eat foods that I hadn't eaten in a long time.
Three or four years later, I started getting angina and was put on all kinds of prescription medications. By 2001, I was hauled off to the hospital with severe chest pain; doctors put a stint in and wanted to do a bypass.
At the suggestion of a friend, I started the Zone Diet by Dr. Barry Sears, which sounded logical to me. I dropped weight, my energy was great and I was eventually weaned off blood thinners.
I'm now 80 years old and am not on any medications. I take supplements and check in with my ND once a month. I'm physically active. I shovel snow and like going for walks.
