Cancer: A Personal Healing Journey Part II

I'd had non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma since 1990. My cancer was small cell, slow growing and difficult to "cure." I received chemo and radiation. In May 1992, lumps appeared on my neck. Chemo and radiation were prescribed again, but after only two treatments of chemo, I decided I wanted to try an alternative approach. I started Gerson cancer therapy; however, two months into that program my tumours were growing and spreading. I went on to try 10 other alternative treatments, but by 1994 the tumours were increasing in size and locations.
I told HANS my story in 1995. They provided some educational information, including an alive Magazine article on Breuss cancer therapy. I did the recommended 42-day juice fasting protocol, and had 10 years of healthy, happy life as a result. My daughter Sheryl says, "If it wasn't for HANS and the insight you provide people to make educated choices in their lives regarding their health, my mother would never have had the chance to watch her grandchildren grow up. Thank you HANS for helping us. My mother is living proof that if you
believe in the power of positive thinking and have an open mind you can overcome an verwhelming illness."
Unfortunately, in Feb 2005, cancer showed up in my neck. A biopsy showed a change in the type of cancer-a fast growing, large cell. Chemo and radiation was recommended, they were brutal, but now, in 2008, I'm feeling good and thankful to HANS and alive Magazine for giving me the knowledge and attitude to help myself.
