Dr Foster has set up a small research company, HD Foster Research Inc., which has arranged the manufacture and free distribution of a food mixture containing the four nutrients removed by the viruses that encode for glutathione peroxidase. Foster has been giving this formula away to doctors conducting open trials in South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia and Uganda. Results have been extraordinarily good, with the great majority of patients showing excellent improvement in two weeks. The only significant failures have been in patients with extreme diarrhea who cannot absorb the nutrients easily and who have also developed a whole
series of secondary nutritional deficiencies. This problem can be overcome by adding a multivitamin/multimineral powder to a cool drink, into which the contents of the capsules have also been mixed.

In Uganda, for example, a quality of life survey was conducted by two UBC students at Mengo Hospital, with forty HIV/AIDS patients who were given the suggested four nutrients for one month. It was found that 77% showed improvement or great improvement in health. Some who were bedridden began to walk again. These figures are better than they seem because seven also had TB and four also had syphilis. Similarly, fifteen HIV/ AIDS orphans in Zambia also showed obvious health improvements when given the four nutrients for one month. Recently, the research team learned of one man (HIV/AIDS and probably TB), who had been bedridden
at home for four years, who suddenly walked into the Ugandan Hospital asking for more nutrients.
