The ACIPBC is open to medical doctors with expertise or interest in complementary and integrative medicine. The objectives are to:

• Evaluate developments in complementary and integrative health care
• Support complementary and integrative physicians; promote safe patient care, continuity of care, doctor-patient rapport, appropriate referrals and consultations
• Promote communication and cooperation between physicians both conventional and complementary
• Advocate professional development, education/research in complementary health care
• Provide, expert advice and assistance to health care organizations, information and education for the public, health care professionals, medical students and physicians
• Establish liaison with other medical agencies and institutions

Dr. Lesley Horton is a holistic medical physician who believes in the body's natural capability to heal. She integrates the best of Western medicine with complimentary therapies. Her practice includes Mind-Body Medicine, Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Wellness/Life Coaching. With the belief that our mind is more powerful than any drug, Dr. Horton can help you to translate the body's wisdom, identify and release blocks to your wellness, and more fully activate and support the self-healing programs of the body and mind.

The purpose of the Society is to further the advancement of orthomolecular medicine throughout the world, to raise awareness of this rapidly growing and cost effective practice of health care, and to unite the many and various groups already operating in this field.The society will serve to educate health professionals and the public in the benefits and practice of orthomolecular medicine through publications, conferences and seminars.
